Mediline Isothermal Solutions S.A. was established in 1994 by Konstantinos Dontis, a biomedical engineer, to produce gel icepacks utilizing a proprietary icepack design and gel formula.

Mediline introduces the Isobox Puzzle Series; a patented passive temperature controlled packaging (TCP) solution to cater to the growing demand for temperature- sensitive logistics, mainly, in the pharmaceutical industry.

With the introduction of the new product series, Mediline steadily grows in the following years to become the market leader in Greece, increasing its capabilities to correspond with the rise in activity of the Healthcare and Life Sciences industry.

The European Union implements the Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and the company is well positioned to comply with the new legal guidelines to serve the Greek market.

Mediline initiates an international expansion strategy establishing production facilities in Turkey.  The proximity of Turkey and existing Mediline activities in the market prompted the move as the natural choice for initial expansion in the region.
