We can design packaging of any size due to our patented ‘Isobox Puzzle Series.’ We do not use molds in our production method but employ CNC machines utilizing a hot wire to cut our XPS products. XPS (extruded polystyrene) is our main insulation material. It is a rigid, closed cell surface which does not absorb humidity making our solution superior in quality than standard EPS (expanded polystyrene) solutions, both mechanically and thermodynamically.
As a modus operandi, for each cm of XPS thickness, 2cm of EPS is required. In addition, our ice packs, both hard & soft, are filled not only with water but a combination of powder and water, a patented formula designed for better and faster results. Our ice packs require much less pre-conditioning time and no post conditioning time.
The Mediline technical department gathers the data from our customers and 3PLs and, by using an algorithm, provides our customers with the best fit solution, not only technically but also financially. Our customized solutions provide our customers with the ideal fit of their products into our Isobox packaging.
In this way, less boxes are needed which lowers both purchasing and transport costs. The company’s portfolio includes 50 validated solutions covering a wide range of sizes to assist our customers in transporting sensitive products all over the globe.

Problems
The Pharmaceutical Industry requires the smooth integration of all parties and a series of steps. For all stakeholders who play a role in this industry, an unbroken temperature- transportation chain is critical. The pharmaceutical companies and 3PLs must choose the best Temperature Controlled Packaging solution provider to transport their products safely, even to the most remote locations.
TCP solutions must ensure that the required conditions are maintained, at least, for specific duration times until the products reach their end destination.

Solutions
Since Mediline was established, we have enjoyed excellent cooperation with both our customers and their 3PLs. Since we don’t consider ourselves as box suppliers but solutions providers, we offer constant after-sales technical and commercial support to both customers and 3PLs.
Continuous seasonal and, if required, ad-hoc extra trainings are provided free of charge in order to ensure the transportation chain remains unbroken.
Our validated, GDP approved solutions, maintain, the required conditions for at least 72 hours, in the summer and more than 96 hours in winter, autumn & spring. With our specific extreme winter profile we can ensure safe transportation our customers’ products even to the coldest cities.
XPS, our main insulation material, not only keeps the desired microclimate inside our solution, but also is much more rigid than competitive EPS solutions, by withstanding more than 80kg weight on it. Therefore, it shows very strong mechanical attributes, as it can protect the customers’ products even if the box is accidentally mishandled, for instance, by being dropped or pushed.
